Construction of the road
The road section that has been built stretches from Øygardsdalen in Grimstad to Rona in Kristiansand.
On this stretch, 61 bridges have been built. The largest is Bjellandsvad Bridge, which is 400 m long and has a maximum height of 60 m above the ground.
Eight tunnels have also been built, each with two tracks. All the tunnels are located in Lillesand municipality. The longest tunnel is the Steinsåstunnel, which is 2,200 m long.
